Venue and Catering

The venue for
the conference is:

Hoghton Village Hall, Blackburn Old Road, Hoghton, Preston PR5 0SJ.
Situated on the A675 close to the famous Hoghton Tower where King James I was so moved by the excellence of the joint of beef that he was served by his host that he drew his sword and knighted the beef 'Sir Loin', thus giving us the cut of meat we know as sirloin. Look out for the venue between The Boars Head and the Hoghton Tower - the Village Hall is on opposite site.

The venue comprises a large hall with stage, kitchen with dining area and free parking. Catering is available all day from Stephanie and David's Kitchen.  They sell hot and cold food and drinks and the cakes are home made.
